November is National Novel Writing month! But I didn't have a novel in mind, and I don't really work in long-form like that. So instead I'm writing vignettes, each at least 1,000 words, every day in November.

I've been rolling random characters and random words from a dictionary, and writing to that prompt. That'll be my format for the vignettes. I have enough characters to go through many of them without repeating a single one, which is totally fine by me -- I've not introduced many of these characters, so, it'll be nice to show some of them off.

Today: Montjoly, Cayen's gender-defying brother, + "meddling": involving oneself in business that is not of one's concern.
