I do believe I saw this on Transfur :P

The grammar is not off, and the sentence does make sense literally, however, it does not convey the same meaning as it does in English, right now it actually sounds rather like an advertisement slogan.

To be quite honest I'm not sure how to translate this phrase myself, perhaps "看來...這個假期應該是會很有趣..." is the best I can do, as this phrase has no Chinese equivilant as far as I'm aware. (Lit. "Looks like... this holiday is going to be very interesting...")

Excellent comic though, I gotta say I totally dig the concept of TFs meddling with the TFee's mind. :)

I enjoy the occasional mind-altering TF, but I stop short of robbing them completely of their true personality. She is still herself on the inside, except she can't speak English anymore (at least, not without concentrating VERY hard) and she's probably received a "download" of Chinese historical, geographical, and cultural information to help her get around on her own.

I was wondering if you were going to have her speak Chinese cause I was thinking the same thing and I'm very happy to see that you did! I personally love personality rebirth. Or memory rewrite (memories are like sand anyway). And countless other things that are just so lovely when you can see the transition of the mind! Maybe it's because the new mind is effectively innocent. And innocence is a brilliantly wonderfully rare thing in this world.
