That is so weird, those legs & handlike feet look exactly like ones I drew for a character a few years ago (only better, natch).

maybe you can help me think of this... if it is problematic for them to support themselves on the stretched toes rather than a "palm" or "sole", too much strain? Then again a humanoid capable of flight would probably be small and light anyway, that changes many of the physics

and I'm mostly thinking things like this after learning your vargrs were humanoids evolved from another animal family, that was a very interesting idea

Well, technically ungulates are supported on only toes, and they tend to be big, heavy, solid animals. I think it's reasonable; it would also look very cool.
