really I don't think there are supposed to be right answers to it, but I would love to hear yours, as for thinking like this I once in a blue moon just have something hit me, but I can't for the life of me figure out what triggers the muse so I can do it more

Well what i came up with was that, there are two realities in this world, you have your own imaginary reality, the reality that exists only to you. It is uniquely yours. There is also the reality of the world. Everyone sees and hears that reality. It is made up of the sum of all universally accepted beliefs. It is physical reality. Now by actions you can make real what is in your imagination. Like a poem you thought up. When it is in your head it is only yours. Only your reality. But when you write it down and share it with others it becomes physically real. But the theme of the poem doesn't make the conversion so easily. If you and your readers have any doubt of the characters in the story they will never exist physically. If someone believes that it is impossible for the characters to exist, they will not exist. The characters must become universally accepted as existing if they are to become physically real. I know this sounds impossible, but that is the very reason it is true.
