Flick was one of my favorite sculptures too, but he has since travelled to Australia. He was completely sculpted out of wool on a wire frame with black feathers accenting his wings. He fits into the land down under perfectly as he was an odd looking fella with his tiger stripes and bob tail.

It's so nice and solid! With the wire frame, does he bend a lot? I love the little bobbed tail!

no he was pretty solid. I stab a lot. I take quite a wile making a solid core body as I want very little resistance when I am doing the detail work. Do you NF?

Oh wow thanks for the info! Ja, I do a bit of needle felting, though the bare BARE basics. It's not a very widely known hobby around where I live and so it's hard to find people to learn neat techniques from, also hard to find unique wools
