I have a Aurora MR first, then upgraded to a Aurora LX Anniversary, then cross upgraded to a 325A. In a way you may have been lucky you didn't get the 325A. There was a bug for about 2 years that made it unusable for EVA as you could never get back into your ship. You would just fall through the floor if you tried to get in.
Yeah. It's nice. A friend helped me get into the game and then another with the upgrade after one of the free fly weekends. I really liked the 325A. I should look into upgrading it some as I have a bunch of in game money from when they refunded the game pass a while back, so I just used the store credit for currency.
