Usually I re-read through my stories before I post them. I usually write longer stories too.
The next chapter will be (much) longer. It will also take a bit longer. (tomorrow's kinda busy)

I seem to keep ending chapters with a cliffhanger... not necessarily a bad thing, but perhaps it might get redundant after a while.

If you're not forcing the cliffhanger, don't worry about it.
