Once a parasite fuses with a host, removing it is as difficult as removing a body part. The host and parasite are basically a single being at that point.

To be accurate, it isn't exactly hard to remove a body part. Just really depends on the body part, and amount of alcohol/ATV's in the immediate vicinity.
I'd say this is more along the lines of difficulty of attempting to remove two bits of forign matter from the nerve tissue between the L4 and L5 Vertebra and remove what is now probably a vital internal organ for supplying hormones. If you're lucky you'd regain the ability to walk and spend the rest of your life taking pills to supplement what your body needs.
It would probably be much safer to treat it with medication. If they really do 'influence' people with hormones, then even slight medication to influence hormone levels would more or less render the control moot. Of course most drugs that do that carry Depression, Flatulence, Blood Clotting Issues, Insomnia, Paranoia, Changes in Behavior, Hostility, Agitation, Suicidal Thoughts and Actions, Allergic Skin and other reactions, Swelling of Face, Throat, or Rash, Kidney Failure and Nausia. (This is not as exaggerated as it should be)
You know what, hand over one of the little buggers to me, Growing tits is a small price to pay to avoid the bullshit my doctor apparently has no qualms putting me through.
