hey! long time no see, FA! Hope you're all doing well :>
I've been super busy with work and with life. Doing some finishing prep-work for my surgery in february, though it's not long before I can just lean back and wait. it's so soon, holy shit. I'm not sure I've really properly processed it yet, ahahah.
Anyway, I want to be better at uploading art here! I super enjoy the community and all the lovely feedback ;v;
I haven't had time to do a lot of personal digital art, but I have a few commissions coming up next! Just need to find them in my folders lol
Also, would you guys be interested in seeing my traditional sketches? :0 I always feel nervous, and like I should finish and render all the stuff I post here, but it'd be nice to share some of my looser stuff too ;w; thoughts?

Hah, yeah, that image rings a bell. It's pretty surreal having come so far, I'd never have thought it a few years ago.
It's always hard not to worry at least a bit about a bunch of strangers cutting you up while you're unconscious, but for the most part I'm feeling pretty good about it. Pain is never gonna be fun, but I find pure physical pain to be much more tolerable and manageable than its counterparts, and a month of soreness is a small price for the rest of my life in peace, heh. Plus, prescription pain killers do help a bit too lol
Hahah, it would certainly be a efficient way of advertisement; though probably more than a little impractical for the porcupine in question. Glad you like the ears! They keep getting rounder and rounder, but round is a pleasant shape so I don't mind. half-open apricot is a good way to describe it, I'll have to remember that! :o

And thanks! the doctor says I'll be back to work after 3 weeks, but it may take up to 6 months before I regain full range of motion & energy. the op itself is pretty much just skin-deep though, so it shouldn't be much trouble. I'm dreading the flight back home though lol
