Certainly, everyone thinks about something else while listening this song. Personally, I think about some characters longing for each other, too. But it's this kind of longing, which ends up in the eventual meeting. So, it's not a useless longing. ^.^ I like soft, smooth songs... with much feeling and heart.
And in the end: this was made for a friend, who was very sad at the time.

Well, to one it's "sad" to the other one it's "longing"... or even "happy" (in a wishful way). Personally, I don't find it that sad... but that's just my opinion. :)

It's just it reminds me of... I dunno. You know how in those movies the hero's wife died a couple years back or something? This sorta reminds me of that. Like 'I love you, but I miss you' kinda song.

Well, that's right... yeah, I understand. You ever saw "Final Fantasy - The Spirit Within"? In the end, the male hero dies... but he saved the day. And when an eagle flies over the valleys, a sad song is playing. I guess, I had this on my mind during the composition, as well. It was a sad situation but... the song was like "You are dead, but you have saved us all. THANK you!" :D

Hehehe... it would be so awesome if they said that in the funeral.

Well, I listen to FILMMUSIC myself and I'm a great collector of soundtracks. So, the music has inspired me a lot. And since I'm a keyboard player for many years, I'm using this tool to compose my own songs... and all songs are an addition to my fantasy artworks and universe!! ^..^

I play the keyboard (ish), yet I'll never be this good, lol.

You should show off your skills to people looking for music composers and musicians. You'd have no problem getting something from 'em. ;)

Believe me... only 18 years of practise and you'll do just fine! :D And I have teached young kids and within 1 year they were able to play "Can you feel the love tonight" by ELTON JOHN! ;)
All about practise and listening to sample.

And I have had a phone call with SONY musics in the past... but since I do not own a studio... it is hard for me to get attention.
But I do this for MYSELF and my friends!!!!

This song was NOT supposed to have a more "bassy" deep sound in addition! BUT I have to admit, that "bass" sounds are very poor on my keyboard.

That was so beautiful, it reminded me about the time I had a boyfriend from Paris, so the feeling of being far away from your love...

this is by far my favorite piece. it is rare that i come across a piece that is able to move me emotionally. when i heard this, i thought of someone who thinks they have lost it all, and have nothing left to live for, then, later in the song, something happens that gives them the strength they need to to carry on in life.
