As her feet lost traction on the ground, she slipped, and the tension she had been placing on her chain snapped her back, flung her across the yard, and slammed her face-first into the bullseye, obliterating it. She caught a glimpse of the cave behind the wall before falling on her face, not that she was very curious about it, particularly right now. She wasn't hurt, but her head was spinning and dirt stained her teeth. Suddenly, she felt the hat fly off her head, and heard footsteps run off. Incapable of pursuing, she lay there a moment and entertained a few violent, vengeful thoughts...
