In late 2010, I met a young artist by the name of DracoMaster13, who inspired me to create Xavier 'Ryder' Shineryder, my first anthro OC character.
Ryder is a young wolf who was cursed to become a genie after freeing an evil sorcerer from a spell that should have kept him immobilised forever.
After many years passed by in the timeline of the character's universe, his lamp was discovered by DracoMaster's character, a young animan by the name of Raytheon La Strada. When Raytheon cleaned the lamp, he summoned the new genie in the world, and it is fair to say he looks fairly relieved at being set free.
Ryder was decidedly shocked upon discovering what he had become, but with the help of Raytheon, he resolved to find a way to become free from his new life. He eventually did succeed, and Ryder's destiny changed for the better in the years to come.
