Boy do I have a story for you!
Long, long ago, I saw a cute poster in Spencer Gifts. It was of a white cat with shiny blue butterfly wings. I NEEDED IT. So another time I went in and bought it, and hung it up in my room. I then decided to make that particular cat a character of mine, a Koris named Syyr. Koris are essentially that -- cats with butterfly wings. Koris refers to the general species and to domestic cats. Other species are put with their name usually ending in -is, except for some reason Pantheraparis.
Tanya is a character I wrote for a sidestory to the Otachi and Demi epic, explaining what happened after Truako of the Wolvis came into power and how his jealousy of the people of Mycorr lead the Destinians to revolution and ultimately his own death. Truako II, his son, had a female Koris Leopardis assistant named Tanya, who didn't necessarily agree with Truako's views but assisted his son nonetheless. Truako II's nephew, once Truako III but renamed Koti, confided his disdain for his uncle's views in Tanya and left across the desert, where Syyr, guardian of the Tower of Qityrs, found him. He later fell in love with Otachi's half-werewolf daughter (I named her, but I forget her name), and their union ushered in an era of understanding and peace between Destiny and Mycorr.
... Yeah, this drawing sucks.
