I wrote this story as I believe Leander needed a good update and update to something that resembles me a bit more than what it used to. Her characteristics are the same and she's still sexy as ever, but this "transformation" is linked in with me going off Lithium and how much I've changed over the years.
I'm not a good writer or good at story telling.. but I hope you guys like it all the same <3

Here's her story:

Leander was always told about the magical properties of the gemstone, Amethyst.
But she never thought it would change her as much as it did...

One night, Leander was walking through a forest, minding her own business.
She needed to calm herself down after a rough, long day.

She saw a soft glowing purple light in the distance. Curious, she started walking towards the light.
Every step that took her closer, the trees surrounding her began to close in all around her, almost as if this place was meant for her, for her eyes only.
She smiled and started to run towards the light.

After a few metres, she could see a dark coloured tree stump, surrounded by pine trees and bushes, and on the stump, was a purple glowing, pulsating light.
She cautiously approached the tree stump and her eyes widened in surprise from what was in front of her.

A beautiful, dark coloured, purple Amethyst stone, carved as a love heart was resting on the stump.
There were small streaks of white and grey throughout the stone and the heart was bold and opaque.

As the stone sat there, Leander felt warmth and a wash of calm fell over her as she peered into the stone.
The pulsating purple glow started to pulsate quicker, matching Leander's heartbeat.
With a large gulp and intake of breath, Leander reached her hand out towards the stone and touched it.
She felt the cold, glowing stone pulsate energy along her hand, then arm and throughout her entire body.
Again, a massive feeling of tranquility and calm rushed through her as she slowly began to raise up off the floor and into the air, stone held tightly in her hand.
She closed her eyes and let the power of the pulsating Amethyst gem take over her.

Slowly but surely, as she was lifted into the air, the pulsating purple glow grew from her clasped hand and started to surround Leander.
With her eyes closed, she could feel a sudden change from deep within her, as if the Amethyst stone was changing her very soul and DNA.
The energy and power of the Gem began to grow stronger until Leander couldn't clasp it within her hand any longer.
She unclasped her hand and let her arms drop beside her.
A sudden burst of energy sprung forth from the Gem and Leander was knocked unconscious.


About an hour later, Leander woke. Shocked, her eyes widened and she leapt up from the lush grassy floor she had been laying on.
She could no longer see the Amethyst stone or the tree stump she picked it up from.
Leander looked around, puzzled as to where the stone could have gone and something caught her eye.

Her tail.

Her tail wasn't the same any more. Infact, instead of the orange tone she'd usually see on her tail, it was now a light purple colour. Almost lilac.
She went to pick up her tail and noticed her hands. They weren't the same either.
There was no orange colour to be found on her arms and wrists.
Her paw pads, as well as her markings had also turned a lilac colour.
Leander's eyes widened, "well this is certainly an odd turn of events", she thought.
"I better go find some water to see what on earth I've turned into".

With the use of her strong sense of smell and sharp hearing, Leander found a lake after leaving the lush green area where she had fallen unconscious.
As she turned back to view the area she came from, the trees had closed over the entrance, making it impossible to spot or even notice that the area even existed.
"Either this is a dream or I'm crazy. And I hope it isn’t the latter", she considered, walking closer to the smell of fresh water.
As she approached the lake, her eyes widened in shock to see the face looking back at her.

Her markings had completely changed.
There was no sight of what once defined Leander who she was.

No more orange.

Her fur had turned a mild grey colour, still almost black, but the fur resembled a more aged colour.
The original markings on her eyes had gone. Instead, she had three striped lines around the bottom of both eyes, in lilac colour of course.
Her muzzle, cheek and stomach markings were still there but were now the new colour.
The stripes on her ears had gone too, and moved to a lilac colouring on the tips of her ears.
Her inner ears had changed to the same colour as the rest of her markings.
Her hair was still a light grey, but now she had purple streaks throughout.
All around her mane, mainly on the ends of her hair.
She noticed that the marking on her back, arms and knees had gone too.
Her wrists remained the same "V" shape they always had, but they were now also on her ankles, and the same lilac colour as the rest of her body.
Leander also noticed that the "moon shaped" marking she had since birth was also still there, a lilac colour as well.
The last thing she noticed were her eyes. They remained the same, bold yellow colour they were before, but they were now glowing.

Leander touched her face and ran her fingers through her hair, "this is going to take a lot of getting used to" she mumbled.
She then noticed a small tiny glow around her neck and chest.
She looked down and saw the heart shaped Amethyst gem, pulsating, and resting there with a leather cord around her neck to hold it in place.
Leander smiled, "thank you", she whispered to the gem.
She was grateful that the gem had transformed her.
Her mood had calmed and she closed her eyes, clasping the heart in her hands.

From that day forward, Leander had learnt to grow with the gem, her mind, body and soul, moving forward and becoming all the wiser.
Negative feelings had gone and she was in a happier place.
