Though I'm a day late for "Throwback Thursday" during my latest 'sweeps month' (November, 2017), I still want to present one more big cat pic I'd taken last Summer, during my visit to the Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park in West Palm Beach...
I still recall the first time I'd visited this zoo, back in the 1990s, when I saw one of the zookeeper walking a young Florida panther hybrid cub on a leash, out in the open. I remember it vividly, because the young cat had a stuffed river otter toy in its mouth (ironically, the last one they had in the gift shop)!
I'd posted three 'photo-ops' of said hybrid cub, which you can find in my 'Scraps' section, at these three links:

I don't know if the Florida panther in this 'photo-op' was the same one I saw two decades ago - when you consider that these animals are on the 'endangered species' list - but I enjoyed seeing this one interacting with the zookeeper during 'feeding time' (as she fed him meat on a stick through the fence of his caged enclosure).
If I come across any more big cat pix from the Palm Beach Zoo, I hope to post them in the not-too-distant future. I do know that I have pictures of other animals I saw there (taken with my disposable camera), which I hope to present on the two remaining "Throwback Thursdays" of my 'sweeps month'...
If any of you plan to visit south Florida in the near future, go to https://www.palmbeachzoo.org for more information about this unique place.

The Florida panther in this area in the Palm Beach Zoo, gets to co-exist with a cougar, as they romp and play, and scratch their claws on some large trees within their enclosure. There's even a bridge for each cat to walk across (over the spectators). If I can find that picture (which I did take of said bridge - with one cat on it), I'll post it here, ASAP!
