He's blowing out his coat for the first time
and my family wants us to keep the fur to make a pillow with
i thuoght they were exagerating when tehy said it comes out in clumps, but i was quite wrong.
and as a reward so he gets used to being brushed, we give him a carrot :D

Huskies can shed their coat up to twice in one year, but I live in a rather temperate area, so mine pup only blows hers once. :)
And yes, it's frighting the first time; it's like they're growing new fur overnight just to shed it! Just keep up with the daily grooming to keep it from piling up.
