Actually this is my second Tauren I have made "Tauren-style" hands. This was my first: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20233294/
The hands are carved out of 2" foam and hollowed out to fit the human hand inside. They are then lined with spandex and covered in fleece and airbrushed. The fingernails are sculptey
