i know the feeling.. im on my 3rd flu this year, been coughing for like 30% of the entire year so far

Try and get some elderberry juice from a health store. Its been shown to contain an enzyme that destroys a flu virus' 'spikes' and prevent it getting a hold. I make my own every year

Haha thank you, my herbalist folfy friend! <3 I'm healing up nicely, finally went to the Dr and got some prescription shit for the eczema... the Dr is always a last resort for me (even more so after Badger's experience last year!), but thankfully it seems to be working out just fine this time.

Blegh. Yeah, clean things well. I lived in a house for three years that had a damp basement with mold, and I was at least mildly sick almost the whole time I lived there. It stopped as soon as I moved out...

Yeah, the mold thing is definitely a worry :/ Even if the mold doesn't directly cause health problems, I know having it around can exacerbate existing problems and weaken the immune system. Glad you got away from that - though sorry you had to suffer through it!

I didn't put two and two together until after I moved out, and I don't really have proof, but I'm almost positive that's what it was in retrospect. It was a pretty regular pattern of getting what seemed like a cold about every three months, which would turn into bronchitis which would last for about two months...

This was about thirty years ago(!), and I've very rarely been sick at all since then, in spite of being around my girlfriend (Who was a teacher) and her daughter, who got sick on a regular basis.

Another good reason to try to avoid mold is that new research seems to be indicating that mycotoxins are a main contributing factor to Alzheimers and related diseases...

Allergies are of course another possibility, and thorough cleaning can sometimes help with those too.

Hope you can shake it and remain more healthy soon! It's one thing to have the occasional cold or allergy, and quite another to have something that persists...
