International Men's Day 2017 - Do you choose the Red Pill?
So much is heard these days of men being sleazes, oppressors, killers and the like. What happened to the tales of men as kind fathers, loyal brothers, of passion and chivalry, genius and dedication? This is why I will always post a piece to commemorate International Men's Day, 19th November, each year, to remind people of what men can be.
This one, of course, rebuffs Morpheus's famous test for Neo in The Matrix (thanks to Warner Bros. and the Wachowskis for the inspiration). It's commemoration of Cassie Jaye's much-suppressed movie "The Red Pill", released earlier this year, and the mental shift (much like Neo's) that they say occurs in people when they realise the drive for equality, especially regarding the genders, is not all it seems. Commiserations also to the family of Carl Sargent MP, who committed suicide due to unproven allegations that caused his suspension.
