I took a quick sketch and decided to paint it with a partially new technique, a mix between digital airbrushing and gradient painting... (sketch can be found in my DA gallery under "scraps")
It isn't really perfect, I never planned it to be, but for the around 4 hours I invested into this, I think it really doesn't look bad

meep meep meep. I had a killer Zebra Finch once. She literally killed 4 other zebra finches and had to live alone. The last one we got only lasted one night...the next morning it was dead with whole pecked into it. Her name was killer. I swear this looks like he would have been the perfect mate for her! ha!
