In honor of San Diego's Comic Con this weekend, some old comics for you all.
Yes, Moira's name is spelled 'Máire' and pronounced MOY-ra. I changed it for the comic because even I was hearing 'may-EAR' in my head when I saw it. ^^;
One of Moira's greatest fears is the web of artificial constraints imposed by "polite society," especially noble society. Her friend Sharazad Melie bin Minrath (the rabbit) moves as naturally in this environment as a fish in a stream. I hope I can work her into a story sometime.
I'll probably move this to scraps after this weekend.

That's an interesting question. Although the people in Persona Animus retain the tendencies of their wilderkin species, they are all, biologically, omnivores. Diet is more a matter of preference than necessity. That said, ruminants still tend to prefer plants, and carnivores still tend to prefer meat. There is no more stigma to either position than there is in, say, american society.
Moira doesn't eat rare steaks, but if there's meat in her stew, or if a coney is the only food she can bag in the wilderness, she will not turn up her nose at it. (Elise is a vegetarian.)
