Soooo, here we have three dragons, respectively
ChaosMiles , who is also the artist,

MTT3 in quite a situation. Looks like those changes swept faster over us than any of us anticipated. If you are curious how we got into this mess, you better read the story down there, with a little explanation of it all.
Thank you my two fellow dragons for being so patient with me writing this story, and thank you Iothisk for creating this amazing piece of art.
Big dragons in small rooms
"And I still think this is not a good idea, Matt." Mark said, his hands folded behind his back, while his forehead was showing several worry lines as he followed his friend.
"Mark, we had this discussion before. I don't feel too good about this either, but what else should we do? This guy found out about our secret, so I think best we can do is we talk with him, before he does something that we have no control over. Even though I think he won't reveal this secret of ours. Call it a hunch. And if anything should happen...well, I still have my pendant." the young redhair said, petting the metal pendant beneath his bandanna.
"Yeah, yeah. If you say so. But just don't hesitate to turn him into something small if he tries to play any tricks on us. I don't want to end up in a cage or worse." Mark huffed. Mark's dragon-soul had only been revealed to him half a year ago, and he was not too keen now on ending up in a dungeon
Matt nodded as he rang the bell of the house of the mysterious person that had invited them a few days ago. Together with this invitation he had sent them one picture taken from above how they both were halfway transformed in the middle of a clearing in a nearby forest. They both had no idea how anybody could have taken a pic, as they did not notice any drone flying above them.
But the writer of the letter did not threaten to reveal their secret, nor was he trying to blackmail them. He merely told them he knew about their existence and invited him to their place. Signed was the letter with a the name 'Iothisk', a very interesting sounding and non-human name. Matt had already some ideas who they would meet.
He rang the bell a second time now, still waiting to be let in. After waiting a few more seconds the door opened and a young man greeted them, younger than both Matt and Mark would have expected. He couldn't be any older than the two dragon's in disguise themselves.
"Ah, sorry to keep you waiting. Was down in the basement, preparing everything for your arrival, so...sorry to keep you waiting." The mention of some unknown preparations made Mark a bit nervous, but Matt kept his composure and offered their unknown observer a hand.
"Mister Iothisk, I presume?" he asked.
The young man laughed at this as Matt cited Livingstone, before he took the hand and shook it.
"Haha, yeah. But please, leave that 'Mister' out of it, I am not that old yet. Makes me feel like way older. Just call me Iothisk, please. Or Nicholas when we are around humans. Please come in, you are my guests after all." he offered them.
Matt and Mark carefully looked around for anything suspicious as they entered the house, but they could not see anything out of the ordinary, neither magical or non-magical traps could be seen or felt of any kind. The only thing that baffled Matt a bit was what kind of job Nicholas had to afford to live in such a large house on his own.
"Can I offer you anything to drink."
"No, thanks." Mark said, a tad louder than he intended to, he was still suspicious about this person, not really trusting him yet. Matt gave him a brief stern look before looking at Nicholas again.
"Mark, please. Sorry, but he is just...well, to put it bluntly, we both are still kinda suspicious about you. After all, it is quite a surprise for us that somebody contacts us about our dragon forms. Normally it is the other way around, with us deciding who to reveal ourselves. Only a handful of people know about it yet. And most of them have...a hidden identity too."
Nicholas just nodded.
"Sure, sure. I totally understand that. And I am sorry if my letter sounded threatening or anything. It is just...I am just so happy to have finally found somebody like you. You cannot imagine how long I have been looking for dragons now."
Matt lifted a single eyebrow as he mentioned him searching for dragons.
"You are not fully human, are you?" Matt finally said.
"Well..yes and no. I guess it is similar like you two. I mean, you are both dragon and human, right? Two forms, one mind, with the ability to shift in between them whenever you wish."
"Not whenever we wish. We still need....help to achieve this." Mark said, without revealing how they achieve this.
"Really? Can you maybe tell me how you achieve this? That would be great for my research, I always thought that with dragons being such powerful creatures, one could do it without any problems."
The two visitors' gazes briefly met, as if they were communicating telepathically, before Matt answered.
"Well, Nicholas...we first have to get to know you a bit better first before we reveal our secrets. Besides, we would like to see a bit of this 'research' of yours. I guess since you invited us here, it would be just fair if you reveal your cards first before we do so ourselves."
Instead of being disappointed, as Matt would have expected, he looked delighted.
"Of course. Surely. I would be very happy if I can share all I know about dragons and my other research with you. I really hope you can fill in some of the gaps there."
Matt tried to hide his concern there. He himself had barely any knowledge of dragons himself, as he did not grow up as one, but rather have his draconic soul revealed by accident. So he hoped Iothisk would not be too disappointed in his barely existing knowledge. Though he had the parchment with them, which he had found with the pendant, maybe this would sate Nicholas's knowledge hunger a bit.
"We..will try our best. But as I said, best would be if you showed us what you know so far."
Nicolas nodded and asked them to follow him down to his basement. Some more worry lines appeared on Mark's forehead, but he stayed silent for now. Yet he stayed behind Matt, as the walked down the stairs.
For some reason Matt either expected a dungeon, or a sort of mad scientist laboratory. But what he saw down there reminded him more of a nerd-cave.
"Well...really...cozy here, I guess?" Matt stated, looking around the large one-room basement. There were several shelves with all kinds of artifacts from various civilizations and time periods, some posters with catchy phrases on the walls, framed pictures of various science people... And he got a somewhat anachronistic feeling of seeing both a modern computer together with what appeared to be an alchemist's equipment...it really looked like some sort of nerd's basement, where one would collect various memorabilia. But these artifacts looked more than just collectibles from fantasy series.
Nicholas offered them both a seat on the leather couch down here, while he sat down on his swivel chair, resting his chest against the backrest, as he started narrating how it all began for him.
Apparently he had had various vivid visions of being a dragon from ever since he was a young kid. But he was smart enough to never tell anybody else about these. Over time he managed to control these visions, sort of, and gain slowly some knowledge of dragons and their past, as well as some places of hidden artifacts they left behind.
But unfortunately, the visions never gave away much information what happened to the dragons, and barely any of the artifacts he found had any sort of magic left in them. And if there were any, if was often barely anything but a soft glow to it. So no fancy statues that healed you, or turned you into something else.
But only recently he was able to obtain two objects that he was able to use. One was of magical nature and composed of two parts. One thing that looked a bit like a copper and gold coloured compass, but instead of reacting to magnetic fields, it seemed to react to magical sources, pointing at the nearest magical object or magical creature.
Nicholas had found it in an old antique shop for cheap. He would have already been happy to just find that compass, but the second piece of it was something that could actually help him get an image of whatever emitted that magic. It was just a small silver sphere with two fixed bend protrusions that looked like wings.
According to Nic he would simply hold the compass into the direction the magic needle was pointing to, then touch a small symbol on the sphere and it would fly off towards its goal, fly briefly over it, return and then would use its own magic to print, or rather, paint what it had discovered onto some provided paper. Though he also mentioned to always bring paper with you, if you don't want the magical drone to use another surface to paint its image.
Matt could sense Mark felt a bit uneasy as he heard how Nicholas managed to take that picture of them, but he did not say anything yet. He just kept listening closely, as was Matt .
The rest of the young man's explanation did not even last five minutes, as he admitted that so far he had not found any other dragons, or hints where they could have gone to, or why there were dragon-souls hidden in humans. The only other noteworthy thing was an old scroll he had found, containing instructions for a potion that according to Nic helped him to make his visions a bit more clearly. But it did not bring out his inner dragon. He was not even sure if that was the original purpose of the potion, or if it was barely working because he could barely find the ingredients for the potion.
"So...yeah...not much that I found, totally admit that. And I am sorry again that I spooked you with my message. But I simply could not let this opportunity pass, I simply had to contact you. I hope you understand."
Matt nodded, and even Mark did. Both understood how much this meant to this young man, to be able to find out what was really inside you.
Matt then briefly looked at Mark, his gaze was question enough for the black and red dragon in disguise. With a sigh he just nodded, so Matt lifted his bandanna and showed the pendant to their host.
Iothisk's eyes opened wide in astonishment as he saw the silver coloured pendant with the blue gem in the middle of it. It shone so brightly and clearly, that there was no doubt that it was of magical origin.
It took Matt nearly fifteen minutes to explain his story, of how had discovered the pendant by accident, what it did to him, what it was capable of, like bringing out the hidden dragon souls, as well as temporarily transforming non-dragon-soul bearers, as well as opening gates to other worlds, though the latter one was something he avoided for now, as it was not easy to do, and he was afraid of being stranded in another world, unable to get back home.
Both Iotheks and Mark listened closely, even Mark was surprised when Matt mentioned a detail here and there that he not heard about yet.
When Matt finished finally, there was an awkward silence for a while, before Nicholas spoke again.
"So...am I...you know...am I a dragon? Can you feel a dragon-soul in me, or was this just a weird coincidence, is my mind playing tricks on me or..."
"Relax, relax, Iothisk. Don't you worry, I can assure you, that you have a dragon-soul, just as me Mark here have one." Matt said, stopping the young man's worry-thoughts instantly.
Hearing this, he let out a deep sigh of relief and joy, finally knowing the truth.
"That...oh man, I cannot put into words how grateful I am. Just...wow..."
"Oh, I am pretty sure, we both know what you are feeling right now, Nic. Or Iothisk? Whatever you prefer, man." Mark said. It seemed his worries were finally fading as he gave their host a short smile.
"Nic, I know you are all too eager to try out my pendant and see what your draconic side looks like. But I would like to ask you one more thing before that. You don't have any of that potion left that helped you gain more insight of your visions? I am just curious if it would have the same effects on me, or maybe would work even more strongly, as my dragon side is already fully awakened. So maybe I could bring in some more light to our dragon-souls."
Once again, Iothisk surprised Matt, by instead of being disappointed, he seemed even happier than before.
"Sure, Matt! Absolutely. Just a sec...." he said, before dashing upstairs.
"He is really eager to find out more." Mark noted.
"Well, wouldn't you be too in his position?"
"I dunno. I think I would have been more eager to first transform, and then get to know more, but that is just me."
"Yeah, but you haven't been searching for dragons and magic artifacts for I dunno how long, unlike Iothisk."
"Here, found it." their host said, running down the stairs so fast, Matt feared he might stumble in the process. "Sorry to keep you waiting, but I had to keep it in a separate fridge, so nobody would drink it by accident." he said as he handed Matt a glass with a clear liquid in it. No colour, no scent, but for some reason, Matt could feel a certain inert energy in it. It was a similar sensation when he would sense somebody with a dragon-soul was nearby. So it was clearly of magical origin.
Mark briefly considered to offer himself instead to test the potion, but decided against it. Matt after all had the most experience of them three when it came to magic.
Matt stared at the cool liquid a few more seconds before he slowly drank it all. No taste, no scent, if he wouldn't have known any better, it could have been clear spring water.
"And, do you feel already anything?" Iothisk asked eagerly.
"Just that it is really cold, so far. Just gimme a bit..." Matt said, closing his eyes as he felt the low-level magical energies spread inside him. It felt different to the energies he would feel from his pendant. And they were also a lot weaker. But he could still feel them, moving slowly up until he reached his head.
As the energies started to fill his mind, he started to see brief images, like a short GIF, as well as sensations of heat, cold, anything that one could feel through one's body, but it all stayed quiet.
With nearly lightning like speed Matt was suddenly on his feet, his eyes wide open in surprise.
Both Mark and Nicholas were startled at this sudden behavior, but before any of the two could even form a question, or shriek in surprise, they felt it. For Mark it was already a familiar sensation, but for Nicholas it was something entirely new, as the pendant's ethereal energies started to fill them. But it was so much stronger than both Mark and Matt were used too. Unlike a soft, slow flow of the energies it felt more like it was pumped into them like a firehose.
"Hnnff...Matt...what are you doing?" Mark muttered, bent over a bit as he could already feel scales sprout on his arms, and his ears moving up on his head. "Why did you start to chaaange us?"
Nicholas barely took notice of what Mark said, as he watched his quivering fingers, as his fingernails started to change shape, growing longer and pointier in the process while the colour of his skin started to shift from a rosy skin shade to a bright orange, his skin drying out quickly as scales started to form on his hands.
"Sorry. It was not...oooh fuck, that is so much stronger..." Matt muttered, as his body started to shift too. This was not how he normally shifted. This was like a wave washing over him. He could feel his skin all over his body starting to grow stronger, tougher and tighter. Soon he looked like he was wearing a full-body bodysuit, but his shape was still mostly human. But that did not stay for long as with a few sick noises his skull and jaw bones started to change form, pushing out into a snout. What took normally several minutes of slow gentle growing, took now barely fifteen seconds.
All three men were watching one another as they kept on changing, soon Nicholas and Mark where sprouting scales all over their body too. Matt could see that just like he himself, Zerat's typical dragon colouration had set in, covering his entire body in barely a minute.
Then he looked at Nicholas, who was still staring at his hands. The scales by now had covered most of his body too, his ears had already started to change shape, but unlike Matt's or Zerat pointy dragon ears, his started to stretch wider and longer at the same time, until they looked like small sails.
All three men were grunting and huffing as their changes kept rolling over them in small waves. Matt knew that they had to endure this until the changes were finished. A transformation started was impossible to stop.
"Oooh oooooh yes...I am...truuuuly a draaaagnnnn!" Nicholas, or rather, Iothisk happily moaned out, as his face pushed out into a dragon snout. It felt intense as new bone mass was added within seconds, his muscles throbbing wildly, but luckily for all three of them, all pains were muted by the magic energies of the pendant. But it was so much more intense than normal. Matt wondered how it must feel for Iothisk, experiencing such a wild transformation as a first one, and if maybe even his future shifts would seem even boring and dull compared to this one.
But his thoughts were again interrupted. All three dragons-to-be had just finished growing their snouts, giving them just a short breather before the next wave rolled over and through them.
All three started to feel the same intense throbbing sensations in their heads, like somebody was trying to thrust a huge nail out from within their skull. Yet when their horns started to push out, it did not hurt either of them, all three felt just a tremendous relief as they pushed out, the throbs slowly passing.
But then, without warning, all three started to whine and wince in pain all of a sudden, sending Matt even to his knees, as they felt their tails push out. But neither of them had had any time to pull off their clothes, and with how fast their tails were growing, they were trapped in their pants.
Iothisk's eyes nearly rolled back as he felt the mix of pain and rush of his growing tail. It ballooned inside his jeans, bulging and wriggling on the search for an escape, but there was none. As he never had a tail before, the sensation of having his newly grown tail rubbed all along his length was nearly too much for his mind. But the same went for Matt and Zerat.
Though they by now had had a tail behind them so often, that they would miss them while in human form, the speedy growth of their rear limp was mind-boggling for them as well. Zerat was grabbing the staircase for support as he bent over, his trousers just as bulging as the one of Matt or Iothisk. He did not even notice that when holding to the stairs, he briefly reached for a wall-holder keeping a scythe on the wall.
All their ears swiveled to the metal clattering when the scythe fell down. But that did not stop any of the three from grunting deeply in both joy and displeasure. Iothisk's new claws left huge scratch-marks in his desk, their minds too preoccupied with the speedy shift, leaving them unable to pull down their trousers.
But by now their tails were already way to big too be released, at least the normal way. The three anthro dragons roared out finally in a chorus of wild joy as the fabric of their trousers could not contain their tails any longer. Their roars mixed with the sounds of ripping seams and fabric, their tails pushing out to their full lengths, swinging around like whips.
Their tails swayed back and forth, up and down, in all directions as they kept growing to their full length. Zerat even swung it high enough to leave several scratch marks on the ceiling as his growing scythe like tailhorns grow in. And Iothisk was by now growling and snarling freely, feeling the air rushing over his tailscales and a forming blade at his tailtip.
By now the three men seemed to have finished their transformation, but Matt knew they were far from finished, as after just a few seconds of a short break, they felt another rush, this time in their feet, when they swelled to their full dragon size.
Though it seemed it was more intense for Matt, than for either Zerat or Iothisk, as their feet seemed to be growing just in size, they stayed still plantigrad. But Matt's feet were turning to a digitgraded stance, thus his shoes were hugging his feet even more tightly.
But nevertheless, they all were spreading their reforming toes in all directions as they popped from their shoes, shredding leather and fabric and rubber doing so.
And this time without even any warning all three at the same time felt how their shirts and sweaters started to stretch on their back as their wings grew in next. Matt and Zerat knew from experience that both the tail and wings were one of the most intense sensations when transforming, so he hoped it would not send Iothisk unconscious, thus missing how he finished his transformation.
But the orange anthro dragon by now was very much conscious, enjoyed every second of their shared shifting. He could feel his wings were slowly growing, every little growth spurt, how he soon could move his trapped wing-fingers beneath his sweater.
But he wanted more, he wanted to feel the air move over the membrane, he wanted to stretch his wings fully out. With a roar that even startled both Matt and Zerat, he stretched them, still barely a third of their full size, but already strong and big enough to rip open the back of his sweater.
"Dragon! Real dragon! Full draaaagnnn!" Iothisk snarled through his teeth, his face a mask of pure bliss, as his wings grew larger and larger, flapping them with every throb. The sensation of feeling a new limb, a new part of your body that was not there before was just mind-boggling, and the more it grew, the more he felt of it.
Matt and Zerat both needed a few more seconds themselves, before their wings shredded their clothes as well, the sounds of flapping wing-membranes and rustling feathers filling the cold basement air when they spread their wings too.
For several more minutes the three men were just snarling and growling messes, their minds filled with white bliss and joy and their scaly bodies hot and shivering, before finally the energies started to ebb down slowly.
"...dragnn..." was all Iothisk could mumble at first, barely able to stand, lieing halfway over his heavily scratched desk, before he was able to clear his thoughts a bit. "I am...a dragon...after so long...a true dragon!" he exclaimed.
"Yes...we all are now. But fuuu...that was one daaamn rollercoaster transformation ride, Matt! What were you thinking, and how did you do this...this was never so intense!" Zerat mumbled, barely able to stand by now.
"That was....not my fault...at least not my intention...I know now what that potion does...those visions you and me had, Iothisk...those are certain memories of dragons. They are all stored in...I dunno where...but that potion, it gives us access to them. It is like...I don't know, a sort of magical cloud storage for certain memories of these dragons. But as you said, that potion is either incomplete, or we lack the power and training to get full access to it..." Matt mumbled, his wings hanging down weakly.
"I...I see...and I guess you experienced a memory of a dragon that just transformed, thus activated the pendant's powers...gosh...I never felt so powered out after a change." Zerat said, lieing flat on the ground, barely able to lift a finger now.
Matt agreed, nodding in silence as he looked from Zerat to Iothisk, both of them just as weak as him now, their bodies still throbbing from the change and...
"Fuck." Matt simply said.
"What? What is it, Matt?" Zerat asked, even though he could barely lift his head to look into the blue dragon's eyes.
"The pendant's energies...they are still flowing...we are not finished now." Matt explained, just as he felt a new wave of magic powers flowing into him and his friends.
"What? But we are already...oh fuuuck. We have to get out before..."
But Zerat was unable to finish his sentence, before he and Iothisk felt it too. Unlike before where they shifted from human to anthro dragon this time, the changes were smaller...at least in some aspects. On other aspects they were much larger.
All three men felt it at the same time, their bodies ballooning to larger and larger scales, growing heavier and stronger at the same time as they filled out the room. The weirdest feeling for a newbie like Iothisk for sure was that his neck was suddenly several times longer, his head no longer so close to his shoulders, but instead held up by a strong neck. Or rather now, by a weak neck, as the transformation was so intense, it gave their bodies no time to adapt properly, thus draining away all their strength, the more they changed and grew.
Matt managed to crawl slooowly over to the staircase, yet it was soon all too obvious to him that it was too late for any of them by now, they had outgrown the door upstairs. They were trapped by now down here, and they had to endure the shift until its end.
Zerat grunted louder as he was just lieing flat on his back, while he grew and grew and grew, pushing aside chairs, a table, limbs of other dragons, simply everything that was in its way. And Iothisk wasn't too well off either, as both Matt's rear and tail, as well as one arm and one leg of Zerat had pushed him back to the other side of the room. It was just a huge mess.
For the next ten minutes, the basement was filled with nothing but louder growing snarls and moans, that were slowly growing deeper and stronger, the scratching noise of scales against scales, as well as the occasional pained whine. This kept on going until all three men had grown into their feral form. Unfortunately this meant that there was no barely a cubic inch of room left in the basement.
Zerat was lieing flat on his back, with Matt halfway over him, the blue dragon's chest lieing on the stairs, while his long neck and head was lieing in the hallway, and Iothisk was pressed against the other side of the room by Zerat's and Matt's frame.
"Fuuuuuuck! Matt, are you sure you cannot do anything? My tail is trapped under Zerat's big ass!" Iothisk complained, trying to shift around a bit to gain a bit more room, but being so big and weak from the transformation at the same time did not help any bit, as he tried to wriggle his bent-forward tail free from Zerat's heavy rear.
"Excuse me? I am lieing below you two, my wings are trapped under your big bellies. Maybe it should be you that should try to move your big butts a bit!" complained the dragon, wriggling his featherd wings a some in annoyance.
"Hurrf....sorry, no. The pendant is fully drained of all energies. It cannot change even a finger right now. We just...have to wait until it has stored enough energy for at least one of us to change back. So try not to break any of the lights down there, or we will be trapped even longer down here."
"Fine....anybody seen a good movie lately?" Zerat said, trying to lift the mood a bit, but to no avail. Being so big in such a small room did not leave much space for jokes. So all the could do now was just wait and try to not hurt each other when they shifted around a bit to relief some stress from a cramped limb. That was until a bit later.
"What the?! Zerat Palar! That is hardly the time for this! So move your snout from my crotch, or you will regret it!" Matt roared at Zerat's totally inapropriate behavior. Yet at the same time he could also hear Iothisk snicker down there. 'Man, what naughty dragons.' Matt sighed in thought. That would truly be a loooong day today.
