For plant life a fungal infection would look more like patches of white, almost looking like frost on the body. Then again, as a creature cordyceps would make sense as it would be interrupting the nurons. What the heck is the anatomy of an asparagus dragon? On that note, if cordyceps main goal is to relocate the creature to a better place for itself to grow, where would it take them? Back to the fungus dragon? Is this a process to make an army of creatures blindly following them?

You know what, its 2 AM. I should have been asleep 3 hours ago and here I am talking about damn mushrooms again. Great piece. That thing creeps me out lol.

The way I think of it, Sveppur's spores grow in a dark place with access to moisture and nutrients, and being inhaled provides moisture and nutrients from a body. Rather than being some invasive fungus to some specific animal(I think that's how cordyceps works?), it'll grow in anything. Also there's a bunch of internal damage you can't see yet since it's growing from being inhaled.

I'm going to have to think about the reason Sveppur does this, right now it's just "I'm being a bad guy" and I hadn't thought about much past that.

Reading what I said before I could see it seeming really annoyed at inaccuracies lol. I want to be clear, I really did like the piece and everything. Just had some random thoughts about it that I wanted to share!

So its not some type of cordyceps where its goal is to take over the host, rather its just consuming them from inside? Makes sense to me. And hey all characters have to go through development. Right now its just "evil guy does evil things" but it might grow to be an awesome basis or whatnot. Can't wait to see how it progresses :)
