I am genuinely surprised at how good it feels to get another page of this out, dood. I think this has legitimately been one of my favorite pages yet!
I think the biggest challenge on this one was coming up with a visual design for Pewter City and some of the various things within it. While I don't think it's perfect, I feel that I did a very decent job. #wabi-sabi I guess.
With each page I feel a little closer to rendering Carmine the way I feel she needs to look. One thing I wanted to pay attention to in particular was not making her arms too long. I feel I've done that a couple of times on previous pages. I think the length is much more accurate to a charmander while still being useful.
Oh, and I managed to remember both her watch AND her tail flame! What a miracle!
Anyway, I sincerely hope this return to Carmine's world has been just as fun for you guys as it has been for me. Let's (hopefully) keep this train a-rollin', dood!
