The Mayor then waddled out of T&T Emporium and began to waddle over to Abel sisters. He waddled in as he was greeted by the young blue hedgehog, Mable. She was wearing her usual green gingham apron, but she was also wearing a thick cloth diaper with the same green gingham design.
" Oh, good morning mayor, what brings you in today? "
" I just came in to see what you guys have for sale. "
" Well thanks to your new ordinance, it actually sparked Sables interest to create a new style of clothing. "
" Alright, I'll be sure to check it out. "
The mayor then began to waddle around the store and went over to sable who was in the corner of the store working away on her sewing machine.
“ Hey there Sable, how are you? ”
“ I’m doing good, just making clothes. ”
“ That’s nice, anything new you’re working on? ”
“ Well, I am working on something, would you like to see? ”
“ Sure. ”
Sable then opened a drawer underneath her sewing machine and brought out two cloth diapers. One of them was green and one of them was orange, each of them having a leaf design on them.
“ These are some diaper covers I made so you can wear them over your regular diaper, I made three of them so far. ”
“ These are very good Sable, but there’s one thing. Where’s the third one? ”
“ Oh I’m wearing it, see? ”
Sable lifted up her apron to reveal that she was wearing one of the diaper covers, this one had the same leaf design as the other two, but it was purple.
“ Well it makes you look cute. ”
“ Teeheehee! Thank you mayor, thats the purpose of these covers, they’re meant to be comfortable and stylish. ”
“ Do you think I can try on the green one? ”
“ Of course you can. ”
Sable gave the mayor the green diaper cover and he went to a changing stall so he can change into it. He then came out a minute later the cover over his diaper.
“ What do you think mayor, is it too tight? ”
“ Not at all, it fits perfectly. ”
“ I’m glad you like it, if you’d like to keep it, I’ll give it to you for no cost at all. ”
“ That’s very genorous of you Sable, thank you. ”
“ You’re welcome mayor, have a nice day. ”
The mayor went to the accessories store, where he was greeted by Labelle. She was wearing her usual fancy outfit but she was also wearing a unique cloth diaper underneath her clothes.
“ Hello mayor, do you like my outfit? ”
“ Yes, are you wearing a cloth diaper like your sisters? ”
“ Indeed I am, Sable made me a special cloth diaper with fancyer materials. Would you like to see? ”
“ Sure, i’d like to see what it looks like. ”
Labelle then lifted up her skirt and revealed fancy looking cloth diaper, it had a plaid design and the colors were gray and gold.
“ Wow, your sister put in the work for that. ”
“ She sure did. Now would you like to see what we have for sale? ”
“ I’ll take a look, sure. ”
“ We’ve got our usual hats and accessories, but we also have some babyish items on the market now, like bonnets and things like that. ”
“ Do you have any pacifiers? ”
“ Yes, there in this little case over here. ”
Labelle opened a case where there was pacifiers perfectly alined. They were all different colors and designs. The mayor spotted a pacifier that had different looking fruit on it.
“ Can I buy the one with the fruit on it? ”
“ Sure, it’s only 150 bells. ”
“ Here you go. ”
“ Thank you, have a nice day. ”
The mayor then walked out of the store, but moments later the mayor was stopped at the steps of the town as Labelle was waddling towards the mayor.
“ Mayor, wait! You forgot something! ”
“ Labelle? Why did you come out of the store. ”
“ You forgot your pacifier. hehe... ”
“ Oh, errm thank you...hehehe... ”
The mayor was blushing a bit to be givin’ this item out in the open.
“ Mayor, you’re blushing a bit, ist there something wrong? ”
“ Well, it was kinda embarrassing to be given a baby pacifier out in the open like this. ”
“ Oh my, I’m sorry if I embarrassed you. Anyways, I hope you enjoy your purchase, have a good day. ”
“ You too, goodbye ”
Him and Sable said goodbye. The mayor then made his last stop to the shoe store next to the clothing shop. He was then greeted by kicks the skunk, he was wearing his usual newsboy cap, but he had on a thick cloth diaper and pair of blue overalls. He also had a pink pacifier in his mouth.
“ How are you today kicks? ”
“ Oh mr. mayor, I’m so sorry, I didn’t think you’d be in today. Sorry if I look weird to you. ”
“ Don’t sweat it kicks, you just want to express yourself, I feel same way. ”
“ Really, how so? ”
“ I went out shopping today, I bought a few new clothes, and some diapers. I’m gonna go try them at my house after I leave here. ”
“ It’s good to hear that I’m not the only one who like this ordinance of yours. Now that we’ve got that outta the way, go ahead and take a look around, we’ve got some new shoes that came in. ”
The mayor then looked at the shoes that were on sale, his eyes notice some slip on shoes with a babyish design.
“ I see you’ve got your eyes on the kiddo slip ons. Wanna buy em’ or do you wanna try em’ on first? ”
“ I’ll just buy them. I’m sure they’ll fit me. ”
“ Awight, that’ll be 225 bells please. ”
“ Okay. Here are your bells, have a nice day. ”
“ You too mayor, have a nice day. ”
The mayor then went back outside and proceeded to his home, to try out all of his new clothes.
