I actually always loved that song, and this scene was surprisingly tender and beautiful. I still adore this film. It's from a period in Disney's history when they were being simpler and not so pretentious and overproduced. It stands well enough on its own. The way you captured the dim light through the waterfall in the evening is stunning, as are Robin's eyes. The love and tenderness in them is moving. He really did have a heart of gold.
