A new character design I'm working on, plan to finish it up nice later.
Ss'Kala is a T'Skrang elementalist from our EarthDawn campaign. Here, she's conversing with an air elemental, finding out what's what.
For those who don't know, T'Skrang are a type of lizard people and the only animal-ish of the races. They are also the only ones with tails, which leads them to believe everyone is unfortunate and has tail envy. ;P They're playful and fun-loving, and open to the point of being a little over the top.
Ss'Kala, though being female, does not have breasts, thus why she's topless. xD T'Skrang males are the ones to hatch and raise the offspring from the common pool of eggs, so no T'Skrang is likely to know who their biological parents are. Males' biology changes so they start producing milk for the child, so the females are not the milk makers. xP
Ss'Kala likes jewelery and its actually her artisan skill, to make it. She's got an over fondness for it and someday wants a large horde of elemental jewelry, made from bits of true air, water, fire, earth and wood.
Yay for having her character sketch done!

T'skrang are a big water race. =3 they lovelove to swim and have pools in their homes or their homes on the Serpent River are partly in the water. They swim nearly from the time they are born. They're also born genderless and hit their version of puberty at age 12. At that time, they typically go out to help crew the riverboats that are so much a part of their culture. Helps them work off steam. Their homes are sort of like clans, with members of upwards 20-30 or more, all usually related. A T'skrang's last name is both their family name and the name of their 'home town'.
They typically come in a range of colors from bright green to blue, with some in 'sunset reds'. They all have crests and tails, and some even choose to specialize in fighting with their tail, called Tail Dancers. Some T'skrang are born with a membrane between arms and legs, much like a flying squirell, and are capable of flight. Most are treated like mutants, since it seems just plain wrong for a T'skrang to love being up high, since nearly all of them are afraid of heights. About age 12, they leave to join the separate cities founded by other T'skrang like them, and they've developed their own culture.
tl:dr <3 I love them.
