Strype also has a secondary stomach for organic foods (he still greatly enjoys those even though he gains no nutrition from them) which empties into a waste capsule for disposal. He's got a near-perfect sense of balance, and adjusts quickly in zero-G, though he hasn't made a point of exploring his capabilities yet. Holo-tools in his hands allow him to form nearly any tool he needs that doesnt require direct application of energy (such as welders) out of hard light.
He also continues to wear his old eagle pendant (a reminder to see clearly, and fly freely) and his tail-cuffs (a symbol of self-control and patience)

Strype has been through some shit, but in general he's put it behind him. Nowadays he operates a small synthlab and designs synthetic bodies and bodyparts for others, while also providing counselling and advice online for synthetics having trouble adjusting to their new lives, as well as acting as a volunteer at a nearby conversion clinic, assisting people whom are transitioning into synthetic bodies. He lives with his fiancee, Sae, and several pets ,both organic and synthetic.
In general he's a compassionate soul, with a goofy sense of humor. Often he's found tinkering with projects, shitposting on his feeds, and offering kind words for those who need it. Experience has taught him to take no shit, however, and he's not above bluntly throwing his weight around to defend others, call people out for cruelty, and in general harbors a "hero in waiting" attitude.

See I don't use Twitter. Never have, never will. A content creator cannot have one single outlet for their work and police repositories of it and Not expect a level of piracy. If this was patreon content then I would agree with the measure, but this is art that is already paid for and he looses absolutely nothing by it being on e621.
The reason I am on the DNP on e621 was because of people on F-list constantly lifting my work from there and using them without permission for RP. I spent months actually talking to people on F-list and the common thread was that they were found on e621. As soon as I did the DNP, the problem cleared right up. I might find one person every 3 months or so nowadays, where before it was roughly a couple people every day.
Is this legit? Like... kinda like that episode of Futurama where Hermes keeps getting cyborg upgrades until he finally gets a brain transplant and Hermes is gone and now it's just a Hermes shaped robot?

As for the upgrades, it wasnt quite like Hermes' case. The brain in particular I imagine as being a gradual procedure over a couple weeks where nanines are introduced to the brain and slowly replicate and replace the living tissue, as to allow for the continuity of consciousness.

Amazing to see how this character has changed in the passed ten years or so. I've always wondered about his jewelry and this is the first I've learned what they mean. Seeing that the tail-cuffs and eagle pendant symbolize something, does the glowing blue amulet mean anything?

That it was issues about idiots pilfering your art and using it wrongly is terrible in it's own right but on the plus side, you're still here and as talented as ever, which is Fword-ing fantastic!

I REALLY like that stripe pattern, that is wicked as hell. The head-hoses look awesome too, not cumbersome but with plenty of room for turning his head. I'll admit I don't remember the older version very clearly, but this one seems more blatantly robotic? While at the same time being smoother and more integrated. The feet are really cool, you don't often see actually robotic looking feet on anthroids! *looks guiltily down at its organic-looking paws* There are lots of little details in this, like usual with your work, and it's fun to sit and find them all just by looking at it for a while. Despite just being a ref this is really emotive, his posture and expression convey a lot. Good work dude!

Yeah, I wanted him to come off as more synthetic over time, like a gentle transition as he grows more and more comfortable with his nature. Also, as much as tigers are wonderful, I admit I've never been really crazy about their natural fur patterns, and wanted something darker. I think gradient created by the orange stripes getting smaller as they go further into the black makes for a design I can really appreciate on a deeper level.
As for the pose and posture, that was -very- deliberate. Designing a robot body is easy, but making it look friendly with body language and giving it that spark of life, -that- is a bit of a harder task

Eclipse Phase was more or less already speaking my language when I started looking into it (and now, playing it) but HSD, I've had no contact with whatsoever, had to google it to figure out what you were talking about. I've been big into transhumanism and whatnot for quite some time, I'm just getting better at it
Heh, same. There’s a massive debate going on in one of my chats at the moment about whether an entirely cybernetic organism is considered a person or not, and whether the ‘soul’ can exist outside of an organic construct. You can spot the transhumanists just from the answers alone :P
The art is amazing but I'm more interested in the lore you have crafted for him. The amount of detail that goes into both is just amazing. I love the attention to every little spec and detail you have set for him. It's something else truly, a work of art in its own way. I hope one day to be able to go this deep into detail with my synthetic character, along with the rest of them of course. Keep up the awesome work man, you're an inspiration!
