It's pretty spectacular, isn't it? Vrass is a freaky artist, but freaky in a good way - was absolutely stoked with the way this came out. It is a brilliant representation of one of my alien Vanguard boys, that's for certain.

Insanely awesome piece, and pretty much how I pictured them, despite only recently seeing them. I must try drawing one of these beasts someday... when I no longer draw like a ADD-addled three-year-old. >.<

I commission quite a lot (because although I can write, I cannot draw worth a freakin' damn) and have often taken a chance on an artist who has a few works that have caught my eye. Sometimes you get something that is good, sometimes you get something that is great. Then you get a surprise out of the blue and get something like this piece... O_O Yeah, definitely a favorite.

I've written more than I have drawn, though I've been art-blocked pretty much for the last two years, unfortunately. However, I think I'm slowly starting to come out of it, so who knows what the next few months may bring.

And I love details on different species! I'll take whatever you have, biology, sociology, culture, history, everything.

Okay, I can drown you in details, however before I do - are you much of a reader? The reason I ask is that I've written two novel sized stories that feature the Vanguard and human characters. Although they're not furry, they seem to appeal to some people who like sci-fi. Otherwise I can give you the...what's the US expression... Cliff Notes (?) version

Am I much of a reader? Well, the Congressional Library often sends harassing letters because our library is bigger than theirs. ;) Only reason I haven't read them yet is one, I'm working through J.D. Robb's Promises In Death, and two... FA sucks rancid goat testicles when it comes to posting stories. I have better luck finding leprechauns in the middle of Jacksonville than I do finding stories people've written. Link me, and once we're done with this field up this week I'll have something to read over the Labor Day 96.

Ah... *coughyiffstarcough* Ahem, there's a few [i]OLD[/i} stories on LJ, most of them in memories. If you like terry Pratchett, you might like the few tidbits I have in the Life in the Afterlife tag. I have some others, but I have yet to put them in memories, which is going to be real fun to try and do later.

I'm not going to lie, most of my shite is only a few pages in length, porn or smut, and not the greatest. That's one reason my writing fell off, I ran out of ideas... but now, I have no short story ideas, but MASSIVE, multi-thread story arcs set in different universes.

A story doesn't have to be long to be good - and I like smut with a storyline rather than just a gratuitous "he fucked him, here's the gooey details". Larger stories are where talented writers really tend to shine, however.

Well, I can't speak for most my earlier smut, but my 'newer' stuff you'll probably see the slow formation of plots and potential story ideas. It's been a slow start, I only started writing... Christ, seven years ago? Wow, didn't realize it'd been that 'long.' Anyways, let me dig up what I have, and I'll jet it your way.

If you like, I can also shoot you some of my story ideas, I'd love to have another writer's take on some of my 'universes', and see what I might have missed/could use change.

You've been writing longer than I have. Only started in 2005 seriously myself.
