Ok, so I'm not dead, and I am still working on game stuff! I'm up to the first boss of the first level (university has slowed everything down) Georgia, Texas's corrupt deputy. So, here's a preview of one of her special moves in the fight. If you don't hammer the arrow keys hard enough, Texas goes squish.
Anyway, just putting something up so that people know that game work is still happening. I hope you are all well.

I looked at the FA GIF file and the reason your gif is not playing is because it is a jpeg image. Either something with the way you export the file is messed up or your gif is in such a weird format that FA converts it. I experimented with the image and was able to cut the file size in half without losing any quality.
the tool I used to compress your gif is called "gifsicle", it is a free command line tool and exists for windows and linux.
This is the command I run gif files through:
gifsicle.exe -II --optimize=3 --output output.gif --colors 256 input.gif
