Awe that's so cute how she's all stood up leaning on him basically hugging after the save.
I haven't been here since day 1 when this comic started being made, but I've been watching for a bit and read/viewed all 13 pages so far.
I really like all the story elements and where it's gone, can't wait to see more.

This page introduces Jasiri having hands when standing like a human/furry and back to paws when on all fours. I got those two idea from characters on different shows and movies. Like CatDog does that all the time. Porkchop on Doug does it. Bonzai, Shenzi, and Ed do it on the Timon and Pumbaa series. In The Lion King, during the hyena chasing the lion cubs scene one of the hyenas grabs Zazu by his tail like a hand. Despite all that though, I feel weird doing it to Jasiri, but I'll get use to it, especially since that's going to be a permanent thing off and on. :)
That all indeed is very true (also thanks for the reminder of porkchop from doug, it's been a whole 2 months since I watched an episode of Doug haha). Zazu was totally being handled as if they had hands even most of the films don't show them like that. It's interesting and I think it looks cool and has it's own unique element in art/animation.
Powerful punch, right there. And certainly not advised as a method of dealing with dangerous snakes IRL. That's what guns and machetes are for. But definitely a cool move.
As to the hands/paws thing: It can indeed be a bit weird when you first make such a change to a character, but if the change works, then you'll get used to it. I thought it was weird at first, changing one of my shapeshifters' "default form" from 7ft tall dragon to 5ft-3in tall thylacine/hyena/wolf. And at first, it was. But I did it because people were more freaked out about a dragon walking amonst them than a weird-looking but more conventional furry. And now it feels weird when I have him show off the dragon form, because I'm so used to the hybrid form.
