If you call yourself a retro gamer, and have not yet heard of Liero - I demand you get a copy of it off Google and play it on Windows 68!
Digital art piece in homage to one of my favourite games of all time, Liero.
Liero is the most fantastical game ever made, after worms.

It works on Windows XP if you disable sound. :)
I remember back when I had my Windows 95 computer, me and my friends would play this all the time. I even had a program that let me modify everything. I made my own version of Quake 2 on it, and it was AWESOME! Took some time making all the levels and animations but it was worth it.

But you don't get that classic buzzer start sound - or the variaty of worm death sounds D:
I've still got my copy of Windows 95 - I currently do have a system with Windows 98 though :>
YES! QUAKE! LIERO! Such a classic *thumbsup*
Remember the first Worms game? (The epicly pixelly version) I used to play that too :3

I know, but at least it's playable for us who don't have access to old Windows versions, and that's better than nothin'.
I still play Worms on PlayStation every now and then.
It's my favorite game in the series. I never really liked the cartoony style the sequels got, I still prefer the pixelart style when killing my earthworms, though I admit the cartoony style worked rather well in the 3D games. I think the facial expressions and animations of the cartoony style just look better with 3D models than with small sprites.
Ever tried a game called Froogz? It's like Liero but with 3D voxel graphics. I highly recommend giving it a try if you can find it. :)

Here's a link to Froogz if you're interrested!

I recommend downloading the Beta Version 3 instead of the final version though! The final version (Version 1.00) uses polygons instead of voxels and doesn't look all cool and pixely like the beta versions do.
Oooh voxels... *touches them inapropriately* :3

I noticed the Beta Version 3 wasn't in the download list so here's a direct link to it...

Yep - I noticed that, thanks for the link :)
By the way, have you heard of Molez? It's like Liero - except it was made BEFORE Liero! http://www.fractilegames.com/page.p.....amp;name=molez
