"What do you mean? You wanted to look more adorable, right?" The werewolf looked down at his blue, dragon friend in the water. "You already look much more cuddly.

"But, it's getting kinda hard to move." The dragon strained his neck to look at his abdomen, seeing it expand and become more shiny..... It looked like it was changing from his hard keratin-built scales to more of a stretchable rubber. "What's gonna happen to me if this comple-" The dragon's voice was cut off as his mouth forced itself into a smile.

"You become a pooltoy. Don't worry, you'll be a lot easier to carry around when you're deflated!" The werewolf got to his feet, groaning. "Honestly, you guys ask for some difficult Christmas Gifts...."

It was then that Syd realized that somewhere down the line, his mild-mannered make-fun of Sergeant Wolf getting people Christmas Presents was probably the reason this happened....

"Trying to fatten people up for Christmas? Ha! Might as well just turn them into an inflatable pooltoy. That'll be the only way you can fatten them up!"

Next time, he wouldn't doubt the werewolf's capabilities.
