I'm so sorry if I made any of you nervous or worried about me. I'm doing alright. Things are slowly getting better. I just hit a real low lately and it's pretty hard to get back from it.
I probably seem pathetic for being like this not once but twice now. I'm trying really hard to change my ways, but shit just keeps coming up and getting in the way. I'm so lucky to have people who support me. I thank everyone who sent me those thoughtful messages. It did help. Love you all :)
My piano keyboard was smashed and now it's a little more difficult for me to fabricate new compositions. I build all my midis by hand now. I have no piano to experiment with harmony so I had to guess a lot.
I sort of made this happy place that I would go to, and I would hear this melody. I decided I would try and do it justice, so here is my newest piece; Ethereal Shores

First of all, *hugs*. You are not pathetic to have times where life and depression gets you down. It happens to all of us, and someone would have to be lying to say they never get depressed. It happens to me as well. I try to be cheerful and being in the furry fandom does make me very happy, but every now and then I have a time when dark thoughts and bad memories get me down, usually for only a few hours. Once or twice a year it hits really hard, lasting up to several days, with a pit of depression that feels like I can never climb out of. During those times, my dogs and my dedication to taking care of them are all that keep me going. But it does go away eventually. You're not alone when sadness and depression hits you. There are tons of supportive people who want you to be happy and not have to deal with the darkness.
Second, this piece sounds just exquisite! It's like the music from a beautiful dream world. Wonderfully well done!

I too have been quite disconnected for the past year or so as well (hence my delay in even listening to this piece and likely several others in your gallery from last year). This piece is really beautiful, and I'm so happy to hear music from you again! I'm sorry to hear you've struggled a bit, but it happens even to the best of us. Keep your spirits up and I really hope to see you (and also myself) around here some more :)
You can use a virtual piano from the internet, its what I use when i hand write my music because my actual piano is an hour and a half away lol.

This is a beautiful piece. You sir can write eloquently and really drag the emotion out of people with this. I am very impressed as always, but this is to a different level. You have mastered what I cannot, which is music that is somber and delicate. I write battle music since it is a constant battle to which i view life. Happy music is hard for me because I am not always happy. Sad and somber music is even more difficult because mine is simple because I am pulling from one sadness.
You Messer, are pulling from all your sadnesses and all other emotions to make this music. And to that... i bow.
Your music will always have my piano if and whenever you need it sir. And that is a promise!

This piece swept me away to the most wonderful scene of luscious greenery, cascading falls banded in sprays of rainbow light, quiet pools and wind-dancing willow branches. Every turn reveals beauty and peace surrounding me, all because of the amazing music you painted with sound.
