Putting on his Aron mask in anticipation for some sort of assault or trap...whatever it is you expect to happen in a mystery dungeon game. I don't know anything about the Mystery Dungeon games and their items, so the items s/he's currently holding are from the regular pokemon games (heh, unless they're in both)

Left Hand: Charcoal. Boosts fire-type moves. I almost drew it originally holding the charcoal to its tailflame to make it burn brighter because it sees something deeper in the cave.

Right Wrist: Focus Sash. Allows holder to survive a move that would KO it from full HP. You know, in case something surprise-attacks it in the dark cave, there...

Across Chest: Black Belt. Boosts determination and fighting type moves, and in this case, holds other things, too. ^^

Silver Claw on Black Belt: Razor Claw. Boosts chances of getting critical hits.

Goldish Claw on Black Belt: Quick Claw. May enable holder to strike first.

Other White Thingies on Black Belt: Spikes. Just regular spikes.
