So here we go; we're finally getting to the end of this story. This is short but the next parts make up for it.

Jewel Vixens and Alpha Canines in Honor Among Spies Part 7: To The End

Heading back up to the surface, the last door was the place that had to be checked out before the final path could be opened up. "This is it," Sapphire said.
"Not yet," Nicholas commented. "After this, we'll need to head down into the depths. Also, you might want to save that speech for when we do finally reach Ogel."
"You like think it'll be that otter lover of his waiting for us first?" Topaz asked.
"Yes. I know it'll be her in the room. Let's go."
The group went in and found it to be made of dark purple bricks. There was only one path that went down to a door. Upon getting to it the thing was opened. The room beyond was small and a cave system but there was another path that led down. The path then became like that of some kind of giant machine. "Well this is different," Emerald commented.
"Aye, but don't let yer guard down lassie," Onyx said.
The Canines and Vixens followed the path as far as it went even though it was short. However, at the very end all they found was a small room with more control panels. This left them confused. "That's it?" Jade asked.
"That can't be," Ruby agreed.
Aquamarine and Desmond hacked the computers in here. "No, it appears this is it," the manned wolf stated.
"Something's not right here…" Kane said. "Do you think it's another trap?"
"No it would've been sprung the moment those two had tired to hack the things here," Nicholas answered. "My guess is that she's not here, but further down with Ogel. It's different than what we thought. Let's head back to above. I have a feeling that door will open."
The group did so and saw all sections were lit. The final door opened and the Vixens and Canines went in. They found an elevator and after a short ride, arrived at the final area. They looked and saw the place was dark but lit with lights and made of grey colored stone. "Wow… this place looks very different from what we've seen so far," Stanley commented.
"Seems that way," James said.
"Well… we should get moving," Sapphire stated.
The path was also simple and had one way. First it was down some stone stairs and then up to the second descent area. Here some kind of wide open mouth like statues appeared on either side of the path. The males and females thought they might shoot out some kind of projectiles but none of them did. Then the group kept moving until they got the next descent. There wasn't much here as well but then finally at last, the spies managed to reach a tall gateway that had some kind of light blue light shining through it. "This is it; it feels like it," Nicholas said.
"I've got that feeling to," Sapphire commented.
"So then…" Topaz whispered but stopped. Everyone was thinking the same thing.
"So once again we're about to face him," the Arctic fox stated.
"He's not going to get away this time," Nicholas said firmly. "I'll make sure of that. It's the only way we can all live in peace."
"Yes," Sapphire agreed and then turned to the rest of the Vixens and Canines. "We've seen how strong Ogel can be. But it's up to us. We will stop him this time. This time he'll either be caught or killed. But I'm not going to be in those categories. I plan to live out the rest of my days with Kane." Her white wolf husband smiled at the female. "All of you have proven your worth and help time after time again. I wouldn't have it any other way."
"Same with me," Nicholas commented. "We've all grown so much since that first mission together. This really is our last one. Or at least for me and Topaz. Once this is over we're both going to stop being spies. This last adventure, if you could call it that, has given us enough excitement to last us a life time. Or at least the kind that missions like this can give a person."
He turned to look at his girlfriend who smiled and took his paw. "Yes," Topaz said. "I'm so ready to live a normal life with you baby. I love you and so think this is really dangerous for us both."
"And I love you to," the vulpine answered and they kissed.
"Well darlin' looks like we're headed to the end," Stanley said to his wife Ruby. "After this, our kids will be safe."
"I know what yew mean…" The wedded couple kissed to.
"Onyx…" Granite began but she placed one finger on her husband's lips.
"Don't talk, just kiss me love," the vixen said and the two did so. They had been in love for so long that no words were really needed.
"Emerald, when this is over… what's say we truly get married?" James asked his girlfriend. The vixen just kissed her guy full on the mouth in which he answered.
"Mmm sounds like a plan," she replied.
"I love you," the German Shepard whispered.
"I love you to James."
"Des, I…" began Aquamarine but he just kissed the vixen causing the female to gasp before she kissed him back.
"You don't have to say anything," the manned wolf whispered. "Don't in case it does. And never doubt yourself. I want you by my side when this is over. I love you."
"And I love you," the vixen replied, feeling better as she had begun to say something like that.
"So then…" Jade stated with a turn to Paul and a mischievous look on her face. That only got the petite female a kiss full on the mouth. She just answered her guy back. They came apart with him smirking.
"Seems I got the kistune good," the Corsac fox said.
"And her heart," his girlfriend whispered. "I love you…" This wasn't the first time Jade had told Paul that. It had just taken longer than the others.
"And I love you."
Finally Sapphire and Kane were watching this with smiles. "So then, what about us?" the lupine asked the Arctic fox. "What do you want after we're through with this?"
"Just to live with you," she replied and touched the side of his face. "I love you and want to do so in peace."
"I love you to," the male replied and the two kissed. However upon pulling back, Kane leaned to his wife's ear. "When this is over… I want to have kids with you." Sapphire blushed hard and her eyes went wide with shock. But the vixen smiled and leaned up to his ear.
"I'd loved to with you as well," she whispered back. The couples all then pulled back from their loved ones. With a nod, the Canines and Vixens went through the gateway to finally end this.
