A subdivision I drive by all the time has some cool landscaping, and lately I've not been able to ignore the beauty of the reflections on the water. So here's picture 1 of 3.

Thanks! It was a little breezy when I took this shot. I do think that the ripples add something to the picture though, maybe I should take another one on a calmer day.

I really like this, because i think it shows a somewhat deceiving sense of scale ^^ ....which means its well composed :)

Thanks! I really like this picture because it has that "should be on a puzzle" feel, so it brings up memories.

Yeah, but I wish they would turn the water effects back on. They haven't had them running for quite a while now.

It's not a real mill though, it's just landscaping.

It used to turn because the rock part is a waterfall but to save money they don't turn the water on anymore.

Oh, that is too bad as I am sure watching that water wheel in action would have been cool! I guess with everyone cutting back nowadays it makes sense to leave it off. Even if it stays off the water wheel is still really neat to see.
