Cresselia introduces the lati's to her previously unknown brother Staromio.
I don't think he has spotted the gang yet. (^_^)
Staromio is an OC Fakemon I created and was inspired by a chat I had with "The-K" over at DA.
Some background I made up for his imaginary Pokedex entry while sketching:
Staromio, The starlight pokemon.
The recently discovered male counterpart to Cresselia.
Type: Psychic.
Physiology: Staromio's body is shaped much like Cresselia's, he is a little bigger, a little stronger and has different coloring and patterns on his body and "wings".
When it's veils catch the light they twinkle like a multitude of small stars.
Special abilities: Staromio has the ability to inspire people and lift the spirits of the sad or depressed by inducing dreams, much like his sister.
When together with Cresselia their dream affecting powers are boosted.
Like most lati type species he is highly intelligent, telepathic and can understand human speech.
Behavior: Staromio appears to be gentle, curious, and dislikes conflict, but is a formidable opponent to all who threaten it's friends or family.
With his lati-like ability to cloak his presence he goes unnoticed much of the time, but will on occasion appear to those with a friendly or compassionate nature.
He tends to be mainly nocturnal, since he seems to draw power from starlight, being weaker during the day.
Habitat: Staromio seems to be a roaming species but is known to visit Fullmoon island at irregular intervals.

Nintendo could learn a few things from you, especially seeing how as they don't have anymore ideas at the moment. I mean they did do the god pokemon. What's next? XD

Yes, for people more at home with monotheism a god pokemon does seem pretty damn ultimate no go beyond this point I must admit.
Japan has a whole slew of gods, godesses and demons still active in their culture, most of wich have been the inspiration for one pokemon or another. (Wartortle, Raichu, Mawile, and Frosslass are nice examples I can come up with right now).
And yes it's very good to be back. (^_^)

And now we can expect to see something like this being made into an official pokemon in the near future...Nintendo is watching you; your pokemon hybrids and fakemon are really nice to look at, have decent backstories, and can easily be interpreted as potential or real pokemon. As much as I like Staromio here, I also like Latias's expression...I foresee double-dates, provided Cressellia there is Latios's girlfriend. X3

It's generally a pattern in Pokemon that related or counterpart species just have their stats switched around. If it keeps it's HP and speed normal, but switches attack stats with defense it'd still be pretty good. But the low speed would need to be worked around.
Or if you were to switch speed with HP, it would be like a minature version of Deoxes R. Which is quite a scary thought.

If I'm looking at it right (I'm not very good at stats) and follow your reasoning based on Latios and Latias, swapping attack, defence + HP and speed I'd get the logical counterpart to Cresselia right?
And he would be quite troublesome if he appeared in the game that way. (be free to correct me if i'm doing it wrong ^^)
