Thomas was was unfortunate to be born into an abusive household, while his early years as a baby were seemingly 'fine', as soon as he began to talk and walk the world around him twisted. His father was a drug addict, and as time went on his mother fell into drugs as well to cope. Eventually the couple fell apart when his father was later arrested, and his mother eventually gave him up for adoption. He would be later adopted by Meer Raynes of CTI and would grow up to work alongside his adopted mother in CTI's R&D Sector 3 on the Soul Driver project, creating a device that could accurately simulate a furson's mind and body.
However a terrorist attack occured at one of CTI's facilities in December of 2010, several people were injured, including CTI employee's Julian Cain (as well as his daughter), and Thomas' adopted mother, Meer, who was badly burned in the incident. After Thomas realized that cybernetic augmentation could not save her, he opted to use CTI to save his mother. Utilizing the soul driver to create an exact copy of her dying mind and preserving it as the basis for the company's Apex (military android) AI.
As the years went by however he would come to have many regrets for his sins, eventually attempting to kill both the heroine Evay (Cyber-Lynx) and the android copy of his mother in Denver as well as at a CTI nanogel plant with help from the criminal Alderheim. When these plans failed, he was arrested by the semi-autonomous Team Lynx and handed over to the Cyber-Marshals for further investigation.
It is unknown which prison the cat currently resides in, but he has not been seen since, not even for a trial.
