It was a calm Saturday, the Florida air brisk and breezy, much different than the usual humidity and overabundance of sunlight. Ruby and her mate Riley had found a nice pink bench crafted out of limestone for them to sit on.
"I couldn't have asked for a better day to be with you, lass", the red orca chimed, closing her eyes.
Riley grinned and closed her eyes as well, snuggling up against the whale. Despite her blubber, Ruby was pretty strongly-built and had some muscle. It gave off a sense of comfort, yet strength, something the raccoon mutt loved.
As the two were relaxed and cuddling with each other, they could hear a yacht go by. Who needs an expensive boat when you got a whale as your girlfriend.
