My stepmom's cats. They are her furbabies and she commissioned me to draw them, cue the warm up sketch to figure out how to portray them XD

Kestrel is on top and she is... special. She shouts a lot and doesn't know how to cat particularly well. She's on psycho mode all the time and thinks she BELONGS on the kitchen table. Also food doesn't exist unless one of the humans is looking at it. Food bowls are just so hard to figure out.

Rio is on the bottom. She's younger, smarter, cuddlier, and definitely bigger than Kess, inasmuch as she is quite fat. She also doesn't seem to know how to cat and when she falls she doesn't land on her feet. She sticks her paws under doors and rattles them back and forth in the frame so they go "CHUNKACHUNKACHUNK" to let you know she wants in. Or out. Or in. Or out.
