Wow. Today while I was driving back from the Pharmacy, I got to thinking about Marvin the Robot from the Douglas Adams' "Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy", and I got to wondering what his magnificent brain would look like, as he always mentioned it was the "Size of a planet." Anyway, I do like this image as it does convey a sense of vast scale. Everything is busy, yet has an indication of motion that goes on at a stately pace. Like watching a great city from very high up in he air. I get the impression every pixel could easily cover areas the size of several city blocks.

So anyway. I wondered if Marvin might have been happier if he was made into a vast, planet sized archive, created to store all the known knowledge in the galaxy. He wouldn't be able to go anyplace, but he'd know where everything is. He'd most likely be less lonely, and less depressed.

he would certainly have all kinds of different people, visiting him all the time. there is more then information stored here.
more then one 'marvin', even more then one 'deep thought'. there are even a kind of immortality involved.

Hmmm... I wonder if they'd have a Zoo? Not quite a "Real" Zoo you understand, but a nice "Virtual" one where visitors can see the animals presented in their habitats from all about the Galaxy in holographic form.

I just noticed your "Cat" character and his red centauroid companion. I should be more observant.
