sililus elidi tivir-situs is a redesign of an old character and she's bringing with her all the redesigns

a traditional witch in the Aibirix style which involves completely overwriting an auroral beast's soul with her own which gives her more direct control over her beasts and more powerful trinkets but less beasts overall and less variety in the enchantments she can make

like all beast binders using magic uses up parts of your soul so she's constantly sick and weak

also was previously captured and had her soul damaged so her soul interprets all commands as coming from inside of her and she acts on them immediately

was "rescued" from her previous gig as a "slave" and is now a "slave" to a capitalist champion from the DPREI, going around exploiting natives for profit

Aibirix witch traditions were a paired group where the binder-witch would bind beasts and the drinker-witch would help locate and capture them and protect the weakened witch and the binder's enchantments would go towards empowering the other half of the pair. eventually when the drinker became an auroral beast the binder would bind them to themselves and they'd continue to look after one another. sililus lost her original other half, and then circumstances took away the replacement, and now she's left with last option of Jari Obi Liiti-Garsin, one of her owner's employers who helps oppress natives

she's a spiritual Aibirix-tradition binder who's based her life on a philosophy of a duality between personal whimsy and the ocean's greater whimsy and the conflict of one's own desires against a world of incomprehensible and undirected chaos

he's a hedonistic Escalihax-tradition drinker who's based his life on a philsophy of opportunity and indulgence (which is basically half of the original Aibirix tradition look there's a reason why when the dadali decided to enslave the aventeri and in turn give control over to the letraxi, the Aibirix dadali said "nope" and stayed their own independent nation with just dadali ok)
