This is actually a very old drawing I drew in 2006 that I just found.. and what better time to upload it than the same time I uploaded my recently drawn James T. Kirk drawing..
Its Lt. Commander Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation.. aiming a phaser at you...YES..! YOU!... DIE SCUM!! :p
Edit: Hrrm.. I just noticed that the rank pips on the collar are so faint that they aren't even visible.. I'm gonna have to retouch that up at some point when I'm not quite so lazy, I guess... lol

When the next generation of Star Trek came out I refused to watch it and didn't do so for years. I was "that" much of a Star Trek original series purist!
__and of course I didn't have cable tv either..and still don't. I'm catching the original series all over again on Youtube and I love it! The richness of the color and some of the story-lines has brought me back. I'm still a purist after all.

Same here.. I'll never forget when Star Trek: The Next Generation started for the first time and my parents called me to watch it and I literally said "Thats not Star Trek!!!" and walked away from the TV.. a couple of days later I watched the 'new' series.. and confused Data for Mr. Spock.. and couldn't grasp the concept for some reason..
A couple years or so later - I began to accept it.. just as I accepted Deep Space Nine (Still to this day can't accept Voyager or Enterprise though.)
