I was playing with this idea in my head of Janine eventually finding out that Egon would change into a werewolf. He was feeling that she wouldn't like him anymore, be scared of him for being this tall, wolf and the thought of the anxiety and insecurity of that made him keep it from her. She found out eventually and just kept re-assuring that she would still like him, whether he had fur or not. Long as he was still himself
