Samantha shook her pom poms excitedly as she bounced around with the rest of the squad. As she danced and jiggled, she excitedly watched the game, cheering on the BJHS football team, the BJ BlueJays. She let out a rehearsed cheer as they got a touchdown, everything was so easy. There was a cheer for when they were winning, one for when they were losing, when they made a field goal, when they missed, every action she took was rehearsed and perfected.
She smiled at attention as, Jackie Lynn, the Head Cheerleader, watched the game, she was so so SO smart! She was the one who helped tell them what cheer to use next! It was so great, Samantha didn’t even have to think, which was a relief. For some reason, she kept getting these weird thoughts about how she was some college girl with short hair and wore... EWWWWW discount jeans. She shuddered at the thought. But then quickly returned to her default smile. Jackie said the girls would be going to a party that night to welcome the new recruits, Sam was so totally excited to meet them! She kinda remembered her party, weird singing, drinking something, then... Sam’s smile faltered, something...something wasn’t... the smile snapped back as Samantha and the other cheerleaders started dancing for the Interception! Cheerleading was so fun... she was so happy she fit in...
