F5!
Boom, finished my November-picture just in time before november ended. Granted, I winged the shading and background a bit but it still was fun! Decided to give Dr. Fterotos some love.~
I also wrote a short story for this, feel free to read over it!

It was a cold night. A cloaked man, donning the apparel of a plague doctor, wandered through the wastes, with a golden staff in his hand and a birdlike mask covering his face. Not long ago, a fierce battle was fought on these lands. A battle that ravaged the land. A battle that could've easily been avoided, had the parties involved let go of their grudges. Although it was finished, the ground still reeked of blood and ash. The man stopped, crossed its arms and looked to the ground.
"Well... It doesn't seem like there are any survivors..." He let out a pained sigh and slowly removed his mask... revealing rotten flesh and a birdlike skull underneath. Saddened, the undead creature looked at the moon, looming over the vast, now empty, battlefield. Its eyes were long lost, but it retained its ability of vision. "It's a shame... Such a huge loss of life for such an asinine reason... I just wish I could've helped someone!"
He remained silent for a while, seeming like he was listening to a voice that only he could hear. Then he shook his head. "No, it seems like every spirit here has moved on. But thanks for the suggestion." He let out a deep, warm chuckle. "So, sorry. No new roommate for you guys, it seems. Haha..."
He adjusted his cloak, turned around and seemed to want to want to put his mask back on until... something caugh his attention. He looked from side to side, apparently searching for something.
"...Although... This smell... Maybe I was wrong... Hello is anybody there?" It was silent for a moment again. "...Ah yes, I was. Hey now, I won't hurt you. Could you come here for a moment? I'd like to talk."
The spots of light in his eyesockets blinked out for a moment, as if he was closing his eyes. Then, he formed a cup with his left, gloved hand... A blue, vivid light appeared just above it.
"Ah, why hello there! Now, now. There's no need to be shy." The bird-faced doctor gave the light what seemed to be a warm smile. "What's your name? I am Dr. Constantine Emilio Fterotos. But you can call me Constantine of you want."
The small light swayed a bit from side to side for a moment. The doctor gave a nod as an answer. "Ah, what a nice name! Good to meet you! And uh... kind of. Well, it's hard to explain. You see, I am not from this world. It's a long story. But yeah, I am technically not alive anymore." He gave a slightly embarrassed chuckle and scratched his bony cheeck with the other hand.
"You uh, also should know that I can only sustain myself on soul-energy, making me need to feed on and take souls because of my... condition. But do not worry. I didn't come here to steal anyone away against their will. You're save. Although the other souls I keep as my companions can confirm that I wouldn't... hurt a soul. Heh."
Once again, the light moved inside his hand. Dr. Fterotos let out a chuckle. "Haha! Why thank you, I am rather proud of that one! Now there... what are you doing in a place like this? And why are you still here?
The light moved again, although much slower this time. The expression on the doctor's face turned worried. "Oh geez. I am... so sorry. That's so rough... Although I already smelled that you must not have had it easy... Your scent if quite unique." He let out a sigh again. "Oh well... So what are you planning to do now? Are you sure that you don't want to move on? I mean there must be a person who must miss you dearly nonetheless."
It was silent again for a few moments. But then, the light swayed from side to side again... This time apparently with great enthusiasm. The doctor covered the front of his beak with his other hand in surprise. "Oh? Are you sure about that, dear? I mean... are you sure you want to stay with me? And that they won't mind if you decide to not move on for a while? You didn't see them in ages, after all, and probably are eager to meet you!"
The light moved closer to the doctor's chest, while his hand followed. He let out another, soft chuckle. "Haha... I see. Well then, welcome, my friend. Let me introduce you to the others."
