Okay...here's something more recent. I've been trying to play around with exaggerating my style some, you know..loosen up a bit. 8D That and I'm getting ragdoll kittens soon, so I've been drawing these guys like crazy lately.

I knowwww
I only have like..one right now, but he only gets majorly fluffy during the winter. I think he has allergies or something because all of his fur just falls out in immense amounts over the summer to the point where he's got like..balding spots. ): Eh, but it always comes back twice as much during the winter, he's so weird.

How adorable! ^^ I really like the fluffyness and the shape, it adds a nice flow to the picture. (Makes me want to have a cat of my own ever more. :3)
I hope you don't mind a small piece of critique: the more I look at it the more it feels like the head's shape (what with the shadows and all that) is a bit too detailed or "anatomically correct" in comparison to the rest of the body. It's not anything drastic, but it stands out a bit.

Nope, I actually encourage critique at this point because i need as much as I can to help break more out of this style barrier :D
Thank you though! Someone pointed this out to me as well and even as I was drawing this, it felt a bit off as well. I'm not surprised that happen though, this is one of my first attempts. I'll just keep that in mind as I keep playing around c:

Aww, what an adorable image!
I will say, I own a ragdoll cat, so you're in for a real treat when you get your kitten! They truly are everything they say they are. The fur really feels different from most cats, and they dont shed *nearly* as much as other long-haired cats do.
Mine is a little rambunctions though, and doesn't go "limp" quite as often as most ragdolls I've seen though... but I adore her XD
