We are still not 100% on the nature of "Hector and Fangfree", but given what we know, we're pretty optimistic that her pair of dream pets are Hanjan* imitations who Deva will be free to claim as her own to a much more permanent degree.
Most telling is how thoroughly unconcerned the apparent future and/or acting chieftain of Berk and his loyal night fury companion are to what may or may not be occurring back home without them, which would strongly imply that said home is either under the command of someone else, or never existed in any measure to begin with. "Fangfree", as you can see, has settled right into his new position and has much love for his new owner.
And "Hector". . . Well, I don't know. He doesn't seem quite as thrilled to be a giant kangaroo's pet, but something else may be negatively influencing his overall opinion right now.

*Hanjan = A realm in the afterlife. Not officially Heaven nor Hell (it's really a matter of perspective), but generally considered to be the 5th Infernal afterlife in association with greed. To make a long story short, if your idea of Heaven is a setting in a movie, Hanjan is where you would have to go to see it realized.
