Ducttape is an incredible versatile and relatively cheap base material for all kinds of stuff!

Some people react allergic to the solvent in ducttape (irritated skin), if you're not sure, test it beforehand!
For forming/tapeing it is easier and less messy if there is a second person who cuts the stripes with teflon coated scissors rather than to rip them of.
Be careful not to cut stray hairs when cutting the mask open: use multiple layers of pantyhose and safety shears!
You don't have to cut to the apex of the head to get the mask off/on as I did here, I could have stopped 3-4 punchholes before that. You will save yourself eyelet-punching-work and later on time for lacing.
For the seams, strenghten them with multiple additional layers of tape before punching in the eyelets.
